Jamestown 2007 Celebration - America's 4ooth Anniversary

Established in 1607, Jamestown was home to the first permanent English settlement in America. The Jamestown 2007 Celebration will allow you to enjoy spectacular events and programs that commemorate America’s 400th Anniversary.

Every 50 years, America celebrates Jamestown. In 2007, Sandra Day O'Connor, former U.S. Supreme Court Justice, will be the honorary chair. With 18 months of festivities and events, your visit to Williamsburg and the surrounding areas will be exciting. Be sure to make your reservation with Primrose, a Williamsburg Inn, in advance!

The 400th anniversary will be commemorated with a voyage by the Godspeed to several East Coast ports in 2006. 2007 will bring major events, exhibits and educational programs.
